Are you passionate about product development and would you like to start your career with us? Then join our highly motivated team of product development professionals for our risk prevention assortment, specifically PH Instruments . To complete our team, we look for an ambitious and flexible person that on the one hand has an eye for details to deal with necessary technical documentation and on the other hand who never lose sight of the big picture to successfully take over responsibility for product development projects.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Managing product development and product change projects to provide competitive product solutions that fulfill all relevant legal and regulatory requirements as well as customer needs
  • Idea generation for new products and technologies
  • Identifying product requirements in close cooperation with customers and our marketing & sales team
  • Creation, maintenance, and responsibility for the technical documentation of a product
  • Conduction of value analyses, market tests and competitor product analyses
  • Close collaboration with other departments e. g. marketing, manufacturing, quality, regulatory affairs etc.
  • Ensuring product compliance to all relevant rules and guidelines


Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of materials for instruments and related production technologies
  • At least 5 years experience with product development techniques and tools (e.g. CAD Design) and relevant regulatory requirements for medical devices
  • Master’s degree in Material Science, Mechanical Engineering or a similar qualification
  • Process understanding, knowledge of quality management and project management tools 
  • Good communication and negotiation skills in English
