IoT Field Support Specialist

Driving IoT Integration and Support at Nilfisk

As Nilfisk progresses in embedding Internet of Things (IoT) technologies into our product offerings, we are on the lookout for an IoT Field Support Specialist to operationalize this vision. This role is essential for those ready to roll up their sleeves and make a tangible impact by ensuring our fleet remains connected and our teams are equipped with the knowledge and tools they need for success.

You will join the Service Business team under Martin Borst. You can be based anywhere in Europe, ideally attached to one of the bigger European offices.

Hands-on IoT support and training

In this hands-on role, you will:

• Implement IoT solutions: Directly manage the deployment of IoT technology across our connected and autonomous machine fleets. Your practical approach will ensure smooth integration and operational success.
• Provide frontline support: Be the first point of contact for IoT-related queries and technical challenges, establishing a structured support system that includes first, second, and third-line assistance.
• Deliver targeted training: Develop and execute training sessions for local service teams, ensuring they are well-versed in our IoT offerings—from in-house developed solutions like TC1 and future TC2, to partner solutions. Your aim is to build confidence and capability within our teams.
• Coordinate with key teams: Act as the liaison between service organizations, Digital Business, and R&D to ensure a unified approach to IoT integration and problem-solving.
• Monitor fleet connectivity: Keep a close eye on the connectivity status of our machine fleet, taking proactive measures to troubleshoot and resolve any issues, supporting both new installations and retrofitting existing machines in the field.

The Goal: Ensuring operational excellence and customer satisfaction

Your role is pivotal in maintaining the continuous connectivity of our fleet, crucial for the successful implementation of our new OPEX business models and the development of pre-emptive service strategies. By ensuring our fleet drives our business with real-time insights, you support Nilfisk's shift towards becoming a more data-driven organization, identifying sales opportunities and improving operational efficiencies.
