Junior Finance Associate

Job Profile:        

The Junior Finance Associate performs a variety of functions in support of the Finance Department, such as:  support the preparation of reports used by Finance and the business, and auditing of Finance reports and procedures, support AR/ AP process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond with timeliness, accuracy, and service-orientation to questions from internal employees as well as external vendors and clients.
  • Full range of financial and strategic analyst support .
  • Track financial metrics and trends and make appropriate recommendations that will positively impact business performance.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and highlight issues that may impact the financial performance of a project as well as the company’s profitability.
  • Serve as subject matter support on financial issues, concerns, or projects.
  • Assist with ad-hoc reporting, special projects, and other duties as required by the Finance Department.

Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Accounting preferred
  • Accounting or finance experience within private industry preferred

*or, an equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the key responsibilities of the job

Computer Skills:

Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint) previous experience with Finance systems (SAP/Oracle/ etc.)

 

Language Skills:

Fluent in German and English. Any additional language is an asset.
