- Du unterstützt das Kristallisationsteam.
- Du bedienst Anlagen zur Kristallisation von ionischen Lösungen.
- Du entwickelst Prozesse zur gezielten Korngrößeneinstellung und Entfernung von Verunreinigungen auf dem Weg zum preCAM Material mit.
- Du nutzt thermische Verfahren zur Optimierung der Materialeigenschaften.
- Du dokumentierst eigenständig Prozesse, wertest Ergebnisse aus und kommunizierst diese an das Team.
- Du unterstützt die Unternehmensmission durch verantwortungsvolles und proaktives Arbeiten.
- Du bringst aktiv Ideen zur Lösung von verfahrenstechnischen Fragestellungen ein.
- Du arbeitest in öffentlich geförderten Projekten mit Forschungsinstitutionen mit.
- Das Reporting an den Team Lead Cathode Materials gehört ebenfalls zu deinen Aufgaben.
- Du arbeitest eng mit dem Extraktions- und Raffinationsbereich zusammen und unterstützt bei der Erstellung von Kundenpräsentationen.
- Du besitzt ein abgeschlossenes Studium und/oder eine Promotion in Verfahrenstechnik oder Chemie.
- Du hast Vorkenntnisse über Li-Ionen Batterien.
- Du bist sorgfältig und verlässlich im Umgang mit Chemikalien und bei der Dokumentation wichtiger Analysen und Ergebnisse.
- Du hast Lust auf innovatives Arbeiten, die Etablierung neuer Prozesse, das Einbringen von Ideen und die stetige Weiterentwicklung des bereits in der Forschung erprobten Prozesses.
- Für unser dynamisches Start-Up Umfeld bringst du Flexibilität und Anpassungsfähigkeit mit.
- Idealerweise bringst du Erfahrung mit bildgebenden Verfahren zur Messung von Partikeloberfläche und Morphologie sowie XRD und RFA mit.

Changing the game
cylib ist ein forschungsbasiertes deutsches Startup für ganzheitliches Batterierecycling - von der Entladung bis zur Rückgewinnung aller Komponenten der Lithiumbatterie - das 2022 in Aachen von drei visionären Gründern, darunter einer weiblichen Geschäftsführerin, gegründet wurde.
Der cylib-Prozess bietet einen kompletten End-to-End-Prozess vom Batteriepack bis zum grünen Batteriematerial, indem es eine Kombination aus mechanischer und thermischer Vorbehandlung sowie eine innovative Lithium- und Graphitrückgewinnung auf Wasserbasis einsetzt. Im Gegensatz zu den etablierten Unternehmen kann cylib daher Batteriematerialien wie Lithium, Graphit oder Mangan zurückgewinnen. Das Verfahren wurde in mehrjähriger Forschungsarbeit an der RWTH Aachen entwickelt und bietet eine effiziente, ressourcen- und klimafreundliche Rückgewinnung aller Batteriematerialien aus Altbatterien.
Die Technologie von cylib ermöglicht die Rückgewinnung aller Batteriekomponenten, unabhängig davon, ob es sich um eine End-of-Life-Batterie oder Produktionsausschuss handelt. Die Rückgewinnung grüner Sekundärrohstoffe aus dem cylib-Prozess ermöglicht die Verwirklichung einer echten Kreislaufwirtschaft auf dem europäischen Markt.
