We are looking for you, located in Bonn, Trier or Vienna (with 60% home office option) as a

UX Writer (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities:

Developing clear, concise and consistent (micro-)copy for user interfaces, including buttons, menus, dialogue boxes and help text based on.

Participate in user research and usability testing to understand how users interact with copy and make data-driven decisions about content.

Creating and maintaining a consistent tone and style across our healthcare information system based on audience needs.

Establishing and documenting best practices and strategic principles for UX writing to ensure consistency and quality in user interface text.

Constantly reviewing and updating existing content to ensure it is effective, relevant and up-to-date.

Creation of various forms of user documentation for Dedalus products in close co-operation with the subject matter experts (developers, testers, product managers, architects…).

Creation and management of terminology.

Your qualifications and skill requirements:

B. Sc. in UX Design, Communication Sciences, Journalism, Design, Psychology

5+ years of experience in UX writing or content strategy, preferably in a tech environment.

Previous experience in working within a B2B context and/or within the healthcare domain is a plus.

Previous technical writing experience, preferably in the software or healthcare industry, and experience with HTML or XML-based documentation tools is a plus.

This role requires a strategic mindset to manage UX writing projects, from needs assessment and stakeholder management to implementation and review.

Proven experience in writing copy in a digital environment.

Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design and user-centred design processes.

Ability to present complex information in a clear and understandable way.

Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies on an ongoing basis, including the capability to communicate technological principles and information in a user-oriented manner.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to learn and adapt based on feedback and data.

Experience with tools such as Figma, or similar design and prototyping tools, and content management systems, xml editors and the DITA standard, is a plus.

German native speaker and good English knowledge
