Are you an experienced within a senior operational logistics role? GXO Logistics is continuously expanding We are currently actively searching for a Site Manager implementing, and managing our logistics site. It is a large and fully automated facility based in Bremen. Would you be interested in a role where you can make a real impact?

What you do in a role of a Site Manager:
• You are responsible for all activities on our Bremen site, ensuring accountability and performance
• Define multiple operations and ensure the implementation of new strategies
• Lead initiatives to effectively meet or exceed requirements, and customer expectations
• Focus on LEAN techniques, quality management processes and cost control methodologies with the operations to achieve company goals and profit levels, continued business growth, and long-term relationships with the customer
• You are responsible for exceeding customer metrics, support and attend customer QBR’s
• You are end responsible for developing, implementing, agreeing, and applying all activities falling within the scope of work of the site
• Makes the site plans annually, interim reports on its progress to the Business Unit Director and prepare action plans for improvement

What makes you successful in a role of Site Manager:
• You have a wide logistics background, preferably in automated logistics, distribution centres, warehouse, or stockroom
• You possess solid experience in managing large logistics operations (7 years +)
• You have experience in leading / shaping the organization within the site
• It would be an advantage to have experience in collaboration with Union and work council
• You have ability to guide change processes to increase performance, productivity, and flexibility
• You are great in communication, self-driven, resilient and able to thrive in a challenging environment
• You like to work in a diverse and international environment, and you get the best out of people. You know how to ensure the balance between interests of the company, customer, and our people
• You speak both German and English at fluent level
