As the Head of Corporate Development & Governance, you will play a critical role in overseeing and guiding our compliance, governance, and corporate development strategies. You will be responsible for addressing key issues in MaRisk-Compliance, ESG-Compliance, Governance, and Financial Crime. Your expertise will ensure our operations are aligned with regulatory requirements and best practices, fostering a culture of integrity and accountability within the organization.
Tasks- Compliance Management: Lead and manage the MaRisk-Compliance and ESG-Compliance frameworks to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Governance: Develop and implement robust governance policies and procedures, ensuring transparent and effective corporate governance practices.
- Financial Crime Prevention: Oversee and enhance our financial crime prevention measures, including anti-money laundering (Geldwäsche) protocols.
- Corporate Development: Drive strategic initiatives that promote corporate growth and development, working closely with senior management and the Vorstandsstab.
- Internal Controls: Strengthen internal control mechanisms to safeguard the organization against risks and ensure operational efficiency.
- Regulatory Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact with regulatory bodies and ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Experience: long term experience in corporate development, board support, compliance, money laundering prevention, or internal control units within a financial services company.
- Education: Advanced degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Expertise: Deep understanding of MaRisk-Compliance, ESG-Compliance, governance frameworks, and financial crime regulations.
- Leadership: Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in German and English.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail
