Strategic Controlling acts as a business partner to the Board of Management in decision-making processes for medium-term resource and capital allocation (including business portfolio, investment appraisal, risk management). We work on the underlying processes, prepare analyses of high impact, and support the implementation of strategy, portfolio, and investment projects. What to expect:

As part of our team, you will work on profitability analyses in the context of strategy development and implementation, portfolio evaluation and much more

You work on decision-relevant data and analyses for the preparation of strategy events and of Board of Management meetings

You work together with colleagues from Group Controlling and other controlling teams on the strategic planning processes and ensure the linkage of strategic initiatives with financial planning

You work alongside the operational controlling, and work closely with the teams from strategy and portfolio development

You will interact regularly with top management and with department heads from a wide range of functions in the company

You perform special analyses and benchmarks to improve business performance

You execute and support success critical key strategic initiatives and programs, which may include growth initiatives, efficiency measures and M&A projects

You support cross-functional projects and tasks, where you quickly familiarize yourself with the tasks and achieve a performance contribution

WHAT YOU OFFER

You have a very good university degree (Master's or comparable) in business administration with a focus in controlling or finance

You have gained professional work experience in relevant areas (strategic controlling / corporate strategy or strategy consulting / investment banking)

You have gained project experience - ideally in project management

You have outstanding analytical, methodical and problem-solving skills

You are strong in (intercultural) communication skills and are a team player

You can communicate and discuss well on a range of hierarchy levels

You are a motivated and enthusiastic personality with a "can do" attitude and challenge the status quo

You have an excellent skill-level in Excel and PowerPoint

You are fluent in English and have good German knowledge
