Für den Standort Ulm suchen wir im Bereich Basic Software zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt eine*n „Praktikanten*in Portierung einer Linux Distribution auf Embedded System“.

Die Abteilung "Basic Software" ist für die Bereitstellung von angepassten Betriebssystemen und Treibern verantwortlich. Wir liefern den internen Kunden betriebsbereite Hardwareplattformen inkl. Softwarepaket mit Abstraktionsschicht, welche den Entwicklern ermöglicht, die Hardware auch ohne tiefere Detailkenntnisse der Hardware zu nutzen.

Your Tasks

Portierung einer Linux Distribution auf eine neue ARM64 Hardwareplattform Modifikationen am Linux Kernel Analyse der Modifikationen eines "Vendor-Kernels" (z. B. XILINX oder NXP) Anpassung von Treibern oder Portierung eines Treibers auf eine neuere Kernelversion Aktives Mitwirken an spannenden und anspruchsvollen Projekten 

Your Profile

Eingeschriebene*r Student*in im Bereich Informatik, Elektrotechnik oder einer vergleichbaren Studienrichtung  Erfahrungen im Umgang mit dem Linux Kernel Erfahrungen im Umgang mit Linux Treibern sind von Vorteil  Erfahrungen im Umgang mit Device Trees sind von Vorteil  Kreativität, konzeptionelle Fähigkeiten sowie eine ausgeprägte soziale Kompetenz  Motivation und Ideenreichtum
