POSITION SUMMARY: This position is primarily responsible for applying accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information. The role includes preparing accurate and timely financial reports and ensuring appropriate accounting control procedures. Additionally, the Senior Accountant will be engaged in processing day-to-day finance activities, encompassing accounting, billing, collections, and overseeing the capture and analysis of the company’s client projects.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Daily processing of entries into the books of account. Maintaining the General Ledger by reconciling internal accounts and ensuring timely journal entries. Supporting the monthly closing and intercompany consolidation process. Overseeing the booking of accounts payable and receivable. Generating and distributing weekly receivable reports. Ensuring timely receipt of payments from clients. Reviewing VAT/Tax returns and managing suppliers' payments. Maintaining accounts payable and processing transactions. Processing payroll accurately and promptly, ensuring proper recording of payroll transactions. Supporting the month-end close process and preparation of required reports. Reviewing and developing internal control procedures. Conducting cash forecasting and management activities. Managing fixed assets. Performing intercompany reconciliations and aligning with subsidiaries on IC transactions. Contributing to the improvement of accounting tools and processes.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting. A minimum of three years of general accounting experience. Strong comprehension of accounting theory. Proficiency with general business software. Auditing skills, with a capacity to research and reconcile complex accounts. Ability to work effectively in a high-growth environment within a rapidly changing organization. Strong interpersonal, organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills. Experience with general ledger management – including balance sheet reconciliations and income statement reviews. Team-player mindset with autonomy in managing tasks. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and German.
