Quality Engineer

Our client is one of the leaders in the steel and aluminum processing market and, supplier of the top OEM companies. We are currently looking for a Quality Engineer for their growing team.

Requirements

Job Responsibilities

• Technical processing of customer complaints/supplier complaints including installation in the IT system
• Interface between internal departments, customers, and suppliers
• Support and advice to the sales department as the central contact for quality issues
• Advising sales staff on technical feasibility
• Support purchasing regarding material application and use
• Carrying out internal audits (system audits, process audits according to VDA 6.3, product audits)
• Leading problem-solving groups
• Moderation of process FMEA

Candidate Requirements

• Completed technical studies (mechanical engineering with a specialty in production technology or similar or technician with several years of professional experience in quality management)
• Affinity to the material steel and steel processing and processing
• Relevant industry experience (steel production/processing, automotive, etc.)
• Good written and spoken English & German knowledge
• User knowledge of MS Office and SAP R3
• Training in quality management (DGQ) is desirable
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Assertiveness, high level of commitment
