We are currently looking for a Logistics Manager (m/f/d) at the Chempark Meppen site for our chemical customer Covestro AG . The position is only available on a temporary basis until 15.01.2026 with the option to extend.

Your tasks
Supervision of the raw materials department in day-to-day operations, including ensuring that work orders are processed on time and to the required quality standards Taking over waste management at the Meppen site, including compliance with legal regulations Supporting and backing up the transport coordinator, in particular in the planning and control of transports Carrying out safety, quality and lean inspections, including identifying potential for improvement, implementing measures and documenting the results Developing smaller improvement and investment projects, including coordinating their implementation and checking their effectiveness
Your profile
Completed master craftsman training in the field of chemistry or a comparable qualification Experience in the processing of waste using a consignment note Training as a waste management officer (desirable) Experience in leading a team Experience in project management or implementation of small projects Experience with the processing of HSEQ deviations Good IT skills, especially in MS Office. Knowledge of SAP desirable Written and spoken English to communicate with international colleagues/partners Ability to work in a team, strong communication skills and customer orientation Flexibility, initiative and a sense of responsibility Willingness to learn and improve in order to continuously develop the team and your own skills-
