About the role

As the Marketing Lead for our Finance & ESG portfolio of products and solutions, you will serve as the pivotal link between our product owners and the broader market, guiding our financial products from development to deal closure. Your responsibilities will involve crafting and executing comprehensive marketing strategies in close collaboration with the rest of the Marketing team. You are tasked with equipping our Sales and Marketing teams with the necessary content and collateral to effectively promote our products and craft global campaigns that attract, engage and drive prospects and customers.

Your role is central to the global orchestration of our go-to-market (GtM) strategies, ensuring alignment across all regions while empowering regional marketing leads with the tools and direction needed for execution. Success in this position is measured by the effectiveness and impact of these GtM strategies, highlighting your role as a crucial contributor to the market penetration and growth of this portfolio. This dynamic role is supported by a global marketing function—including Public Relations, Social Media, Digital Advertising, Automation, Distribution, and Design—ensuring the Finance & ESG Lead is well-equipped to execute strategies for their portfolio.

Your key responsibilities 

As a key part of the Finance & ESG division equipped with a clear focus on shared objectives, target markets and metrics you will be responsible for: 

  • Strategic marketing planning: Devise and manage comprehensive go-to-market (GtM) plans for key products within our portfolio, including new product launches. This entails end-to-end coordination—from strategic inception through to execution. 
  • Positioning and messaging development: Craft strong, consistent, and clear positioning for target solutions and messaging for each audience/segment using insights into buying centers  
  • Campaign management: Lead the management of global product campaigns, encompassing product launches, retargeting initiatives, and demand generation campaigns. Your role involves close coordination with various global marketing functions, including campaign managers, digital leads, copywriters, PR, and designers 
  • Product marketing calendar management: Oversee the divisional marketing calendar, ensuring seamless integration of marketing activities both within the division and across different regions 
  • Sales and marketing enablement: Spearhead the creation and distribution of marketing collateral, such as webpages, brochures, explainer videos, and solution-specific one-pagers. You will monitor the utilization, make necessary improvements and respond to new asset requests to support Sales and Regional Marketing. 
  • Performance tracking: You will continuously track and analyze the performance of our marketing campaigns on sales pipeline and overall market penetration. This involves adjusting marketing strategies based on these insights and regularly reporting to leadership on the successes and learnings of our GtM strategies.

Requirements

  • 5-15 years of B2B marketing experience with a track record in Product or Solutions Marketing or Product Management  
  • Experience in targeting financial institutions and more specifically the CFO and finance department audience as well as CIOs, technology and ESG decision-makers preferred 
  • Strategic thinker and excellent communicator who can capture complex products in a simple way 
  • Highly proactive, confident, and creative, capable of building strong relationships with product teams 
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adapting quickly in a fast-paced, scale-up environment 
  • Technology and AI-savvy, with a strong interest in emerging technologies and digital trends to drive innovative marketing strategies
  • High-quality execution with a systematic approach to project management, capable of prioritizing and executing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Collaborative team player who values sharing knowledge and best practices, with a positive attitude and the ability to inspire and generate enthusiasm for projects
  • Fluent in written and spoken English; German desirable
