Clinical Research Nurse

Hobson Prior is seeking a Clinical Research Nurse for a project at a University Clinic in Leipzig. This role focuses on conducting patient visits, coordinating study activities, and ensuring compliance with study protocols and guidelines. The role requires excellent communication skills and fluency in both German and English.

Key Responsibilities

  • Find, screen, and register study participants; conduct health check-ups; monitor for any adverse events; provide education and support.
  • Collect, document, and input study data accurately; perform clinical assessments and manage biological samples.
  • Adhere to study protocols, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, and regulatory requirements; prepare and submit documents to Institutional Review Boards (IRBs).
  • Work with investigators and healthcare professionals; coordinate study activities, schedule participant visits, and manage study supplies.
  • Respect participant rights and confidentiality; maintain ethical standards throughout the research process.
  • Implement quality control measures, address discrepancies, and contribute to process improvements for better study efficiency and compliance.

Requirements

  • Currently working as a freelancer.
  • Extensive experience as a Clinical Research Nurse, including conducting patient visits.
  • Proven experience as a Study Coordinator.
  • Specialized experience in oncology studies.
  • Skilled in collaborating with study teams.
  • Proficient with eCRF and IWRS systems.
  • Native German speaker.
  • Fluent in English with strong reading and writing skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • Current ICH/GCP certification.
  • IATA certification preferred.
