Overnight Cleaner

Mission Title: Overnight Cleaner & Dishwasher
Anticipated Hours: ~10 p.m. to ~4 a.m. (exact schedule can be adjusted if you require a later start), targeted 36-40 hours a week
Start Date: Immediate
Anticipated Pay: $18/hour
Location: 74 Maine Street, Brunswick, Maine

Gelato Fiasco seeks an overnight dishwasher/cleaner at our Brunswick store. This is an opportunity to be part of the team for a small business that values a positive employee culture. You will do the day's dishes, clean the dining room, service area, kitchen, basement, and outdoor area. The night will begin by checking in with our customer service staff and then working independently for most of the night.

Minimum Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in cleaning capacity is preferred. In lieu of experience, a history of self-directed work can be substituted.
- Tendency to like to keep things sparkling clean and sanitary.
- Must be responsible and focused to get the job done without constant supervision.
- You may be working alone for parts of this shift, so you need be comfortable with fairly independent work.
- Clean and professional personal appearance.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Anticipated Daily Responsibilities:
- Nightly breakdown and cleaning of dining area, service area, and kitchen.
- Do the day's dishes, in sink and with commercial dishwasher.
- Check in with nighttime service staff to see what needs to be done.
- Restocking of supplies.
- Deep-cleaning projects aligning with weekly and monthly cleaning calendar.
- Tidy outside areas.
- Regular maintenance projects.
- Flexibility to adjust order of tasks daily.
