The purpose of the Global Material Master Senior Specialist role is to deliver best-in-class service to Wella globally through timely, accurate and efficient management of material master data, used in the global Supply Chain, Finance, Reporting and other major business functions.
You will join the Central Data Office (CDO) Team, who believes that when data is well-defined, efficiently created, correct, available, and trustworthy, it can power the growth of the Company. We strive to be the center of excellence around data for the major Wella global and local business functions: Supply Chain, Customer Service, Sales, Trade Marketing, Finance and Procurement. We operate in three main areas: regular data operations, project management, and data governance.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Manage end-to-end key material master data processes in SAP ERP and MDG. Resolve tickets related to material master data according to Standard Level Agreements. Prepare data reports and analyses using SAP ERP, MS Excel and other internal tools. Analyze issues reported through tickets, define their root-causes, propose solutions, and drive action plans. Perform data quality checks to ensure data is compliant with the global standards. Proactively escalate business risks related to process and system gaps. Challenge existing processes and propose improvements to drive efficiency. Create and update standard operating procedures and work instructions. Share knowledge on MD standards with peers and local business functions, and provide trainings as required. Support global projects by active participation in the phases of gathering requirements, testing & hypercare. Closely cooperate with other workstreams: Planning, Marketing, Finance, R&D, IT, local Business Units. Support future transition activities connected with team scope changes.WHAT WE WANT YOU TO BRING ALONG
Min. 1 year of working experience in data management, supply chain, finance, customer service or IT Experience with SAP system (preferably material maintenance transactions) Ownership, autonomy, and accountability for results within the given scope Growth mindset, with focus on solutions, improvements, and constant learning Priority-setting skills and efficient work organization in a dynamic business environment Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team towards a common objective Resilience to frequent changes in the supply chain Ability to think and understand quickly, and to adjust plans and actions to the changing circumstances Ability to conduct data analyses and present the outcomes, driving the decision-making process Fluent English, both written and spoken Good practical knowledge of MS Excel, and basic experience with MS Outlook, Teams and PowerPointWHAT WE OFFER
