Your Role:
Projects location: Dresden area, Eastern Germany
Responsibilities include:
- Performing engineering tasks for the design of utilities and HVAC dry systems in diverse facilities such as cleanrooms, manufacturing/process plants, and institutional buildings.
- Conducting mechanical engineering calculations to support HVAC system designs, including heat load calculations, duct sizing, chilled water hydraulics, static pressure calculations, and equipment selection.
- Collaborating with other disciplines to incorporate their inputs into deliverables and ensuring seamless coordination.
- Providing on-site project support and making technical decisions to drive project success.
- Contributing to the development of studies and design procedures to enhance the quality and cost-effectiveness of work.
- Maintaining close collaboration with the project team, other disciplines, and external design offices.
- Assisting in the creation of conceptual, preliminary, and final design documents, including sizing and selection calculations, Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and system sequences of operation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required
- Several years of professional experience with TGA and clean room technology systems ideally in the semiconductor industry
- General knowledge of codes and common industry standards related to the design of industrial and manufacturing facilities and systems
- Good knowledge in the design of HVAC systems
- Proficiency in German is required, knowledge of English would be an advantage
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
