Your Role:

We seek a dynamic and experienced Mechanical Engineer specialized in HVAC systems (m/f/d) to join our team. The chosen candidate will work closely with a team of engineers and designers to create construction documents for a variety of systems, including HVAC wet/dry, plumbing, controls, and related systems.

Projects location: Dresden area, Eastern Germany

Responsibilities include:

• Performing engineering tasks for the design of utilities and HVAC dry systems in diverse facilities such as cleanrooms, manufacturing/process plants, and institutional buildings.
  
• Conducting mechanical engineering calculations to support HVAC system designs, including heat load calculations, duct sizing, chilled water hydraulics, static pressure calculations, and equipment selection.
  
• Collaborating with other disciplines to incorporate their inputs into deliverables and ensuring seamless coordination.
  
• Providing on-site project support and making technical decisions to drive project success.
  
• Contributing to the development of studies and design procedures to enhance the quality and cost-effectiveness of work.
  
• Maintaining close collaboration with the project team, other disciplines, and external design offices.
  
• Assisting in the creation of conceptual, preliminary, and final design documents, including sizing and selection calculations, Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and system sequences of operation.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required
  
• Several years of professional experience with TGA and clean room technology systems ideally in the semiconductor industry
  
• General knowledge of codes and common industry standards related to the design of industrial and manufacturing facilities and systems
  
• Good knowledge in the design of HVAC systems
  
• Proficiency in German is required, knowledge of English would be an advantage
  
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
