Well, guess what? KWS Berlin GmbH is looking for a full-time, permanent Functional Automation Lead Finance (m/f/d) for our Berlin office. We need someone who's not afraid to challenge the status-quo, dive deep into Finance processes, mainly General Ledger, indirect Tax or Treasury, and proactively drive our automation initiatives. Make an impact:
Create a comprehensive automation strategy and roadmap aligned with the functional strategy goals and overall business objectives. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains through automation, optimizing the entire value chain, including screening the market for relevant technologies Lead the implementation of automation solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and compliance with IT and automation governance. Work closely with process owners, stakeholders, and central functions such as Global IT, Expert Hub, the Automation and Data Analytics Team and external partners to drive end-to-end automation solutions. Offer training and support to colleagues on automation tools and methodologies, fostering a culture of learning and knowledge sharing. Implement monitoring mechanisms to track the performance of automated processes and generate regular reports on the impact of automation, including efficiency gains and cost savings.Bring your strength :
Bachelor's or master’s degree in Business Administration, Data Science, IT, or a related field. Demonstrated experience in leading and driving automation initiatives, preferably within a Shared Service Center environment. Strong understanding of Finance processes and workflows, with proficiency in systems such as SAP R3 and S/4. Proficiency in automation tools (e.g., MS Power Platform) and advanced skills in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, etc.). Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies A strategic mindset with a focus on driving innovation and continuous improvement. Strong program and project management skills and stakeholder management capabilities. Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data-driven insights into actionable strategies.
