Summary

We are looking for a “Head of Final Assembly & Test Airborne / SDAS (f/m/d)” for the “Assembly & Test Airborne / SDAS” department at the Ulm site at the earliest possible date.

The “Assembly & Test Airborne / SDAS” department is responsible for the final integration and testing of HENSOLDT Sensors products.

Your Tasks

Technical and disciplinary management of the Final Assembly & Test Airborne / SDAS division and the associated departments

Responsible for the strategic direction of the Final Assembly & Test Airborne / SDAS department

Communication with the divisions, including consolidation and further development of production rolling wave planning

Collaboration in the further development of production planning and order processing towards end-to-end supply chain management.

Participation in the review / evaluation of planning deadlines and internal production project reviews

Provision of all resources required for order processing, including the necessary capacity flexibility in the event of fluctuations in capacity utilization

Development and introduction of new production concepts, in particular the implementation of flexible, lean product lines for sensor products

Active support in the industrialization of key Hensoldt Sensors products

Development of the strategic orientation and further development of the division, as well as its consistent implementation

Preparation of personnel and resource planning as well as budget and investment planning

Responsible for the processing of customer returns (KRL-Repair)

Collaboration in the acquisition and offer preparation of new production orders

Your Profile

Completed studies in the field of electrical engineering, communications engineering, industrial engineering or comparable

Experience in logistics processes / provisioning concepts for the assembly of complex systems

Leadership, coordination and integration skills, experience in leading teams

Sound knowledge of order processing including planning and control

Very good knowledge of the business system

Good knowledge of assembly and testing technologies

High level of social and methodological competence (lean production, value stream mapping, line and flow production, Kaizen, 5S, visual management, TQM)

Independent and autonomous way of working, flexibility and ability to work in a team

Organizational talent with strong communication skills for good internal and external impact

Entrepreneurial thinking, strong business judgment and strong customer orientation

Very good English skills
