What Will Be Your Environment:

Bavaria Medizin Technologie GmbH (BMT) is in Weßling, Gilching and Sibiu (Romania). We produce catheters with approx. 140 employees.

 

What You'll Do:

As a Process engineer balloon development, you will support the development of balloons for catheters. You'll collaborate with a diverse group of passionate individuals to deliver sustainable solutions to advance mobility, improve wellbeing and enhance modern life.

 

What We're Looking For:

  • Layout balloon molds and tubing dimension for new balloon sizes
  • Develop process parameter on the corresponding balloon forming machine
  • Document and evaluate results; initiate process validation
  • Rework balloon process parameter, to optimize yield / adapt material variations
  • Maintain equipment and repair defect parts/machines
  • Implementation and qualification of new equipment; write maintenance plans and work instructions
  • Design, construction and optimization of equipment for the production

 

Skills That Make a Difference:

  • Completed university degree in plastics technology, production/manufacturing technology or a comparable field or at least 5 years of professional experience with a focus on production processes
  • Ideally specialist knowledge in the processing of plastics
  • Ideally experience in the medical industry
  • High level of problem-solving skills as well as a goal-oriented and independent way of working
  • Passion for the development of procedures and production processes
