Application Development Engineer (m/f/d) Electronic Materials

Summary:

Als Application Development Engineer (m/w/d) nutzt du deine technische Expertise, um unsere innovativen Materialien bei Kunden erfolgreich zu machen. Mit deinem tiefen Verständnis der Materialverarbeitung unterstützt du nicht nur unsere Kunden bei der optimalen Anwendung unserer Produkte, sondern arbeitest eng mit den Teams aus Marketing, Vertrieb und Forschung & Entwicklung zusammen. Du testest unsere Materialien auf Herz und Nieren, vergleichst neue und bestehende Stoffe, und begleitest unsere Kunden von der ersten Auswahl über das Sampling, bei Problemlösungen bis hin zur Einführung in die Serienproduktion (High Volume Manufacturing). Du trägst maßgeblich dazu bei, dass unsere Lösungen die Erwartungen unserer Kunden übertreffen.

Responsibilities Include:

Du bist der zentrale Ansprechpartner für unser globales Sales-Team mit besonderem Fokus auf den Automobilmarkt und leistest erstklassigen Kunden-Support – von der Markteinführung über Testdurchführungen bis hin zur Fehlerbehebung, einschließlich Vor-Ort-Unterstützung in der gesamten EMEAI-Region.

Du nutzt dein umfangreiches Produkt-Knowhow und deine Anwendungsexpertise, um Kunden und globale R&D-Teams bei der Lösung komplexer Herausforderungen zu unterstützen. Dabei übersetzt du die Anforderungen und Bedürfnisse unserer Kunden in konkrete Lösungen und beeinflusst so die Weiterentwicklung unserer bestehenden und neuen Produkte.

In enger Zusammenarbeit mit R&D entwickelst du neue Materialien, indem du klare technische Ziele definierst, innovative Rezepturen unterstützt und anwendungsspezifische Testverfahren sowie Leitlinien einführst, die unseren Kunden einen echten Mehrwert bieten.

Du entwickelst und implementierst neue Bewertungs- und Beschreibungsmethoden, um unsere Labor- und kundenspezifischen Anwendungssupportprozesse zu optimieren.

Du baust starke, vertrauensvolle Kundenbeziehungen auf und unterstützt sie in den Bereichen Prozesse, Produktion und Entwicklung, indem du tiefgehendes Produkt-Knowhow erarbeitest und maßgeschneiderte Lösungen für die spezifischen Anwendungen unserer Kunden lieferst.

Du bist erfolgreich in der Position, wenn du nachfolgende Qualifikationen erfüllst:

Du hast einen in Chemie, Chemieingenieurwesen, Materialwissenschaften, Verfahrenstechnik, Elektrotechnik oder Maschinenbau

Mit mindestens 3-5 Jahren Berufserfahrung in der Elektronikbranche, insbesondere in der Produktentwicklung und/oder Technik, verfügst du über fundierte Kenntnisse der chemischen und physikalischen Wechselwirkungen, die die Eigenschaften der Endprodukte beeinflussen. Deine Erfahrung im Laborumfeld und deine Fähigkeit, dich schnell in neue Prüfverfahren und -geräte einzuarbeiten, zeichnen dich aus.

Du hast Erfahrung im Management und der Priorisierung mehrerer Projekte. Deine starke Kundenorientierung zeigt sich in deiner Fähigkeit, theoretisches Wissen in praxisnahe Lösungen umzusetzen und Anwendungs- sowie Kunden-CTQs (Critical to Quality) in neuen Labor- und Screening-Methoden zu integrieren.

Du bist versiert im Aufbau nachhaltiger Kundenbeziehungen und bringst eine ausgeprägte Problemlösungskompetenz mit. Deine Fähigkeit, komplexe technische Anforderungen in kundenorientierte Lösungen zu übersetzen, macht dich zu einem wertvollen Partner für unsere Kunden.

Du arbeitest effektiv in einem cross-funktionalen, internationalen Team und bringst starken Teamgeist sowie soziale und interkulturelle Kompetenzen mit.

Verhandlungssichere Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift sind für dich selbstverständlich. Zusätzlich bist du sehr erfahren im Umgang mit MS-Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
