Global Customer Service & Parts MBC is responsible for the worldwide parts and service business of Mercedes-Benz AG. With over one million square meters of storage space, the Global Logistic Center (GLC) in Germersheim is the world's largest warehouse for automotive spare parts and also the headquarters of the global Mercedes-Benz after-sales supply chain network. Become a part of the whole, in a team of highly motivated employees of the technical factory service intralogistics at the Global Logistic Center of Mercedes-Benz AG in Germersheim. Our team deals with the entire spectrum of maintenance of our intralogistics facilities and the management of our service providers for cleaning, parts scrapping, disposal and services.
We attach great importance to communicating with each other directly and at eye level in regular meetings. It is also important to us that we deal with each other constructively and honestly.
As part of our Technical Plant Service Intralogistics team, you will be responsible for
Preventive maintenance and repair of electrical and electronic conveyor and system technology at all GLC locations Accepting fault reports, determining the causes and rectifying them Continuously optimizing the systems Assisting with the planning of new systems, start-up support for new systems and revitalizations Carrying out weak point and fault analyses, conversions and optimizations, including their documentation Providing support and technical instruction to operators and users and, if necessary, supervising our trainees Performing a multiplier function within the maintenance department and instructing external companies Managing and processing orders and material withdrawals in SAP iPro Optimizing the preventive maintenance process QualifikationenIdeally you qualify for this job with:
Completed training as an electrician, energy system electronics technician or industrial electronics technician specializing in production technology or otherwise acquired extensive knowledge in this field Experience in the field of S7 programmable logic controllers, TIA Portal and Integra knowledge Good knowledge of pneumatics Experience in working with SAP ipro and corresponding maintenance tools Good knowledge of MS Office High degree of independence Flexibility and sociability Mobility and willingness to work in shifts (alternating shifts), weekends and on-call dutyWe offer you more than just a job.
