Planning Manager

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Support introduction and use of new IT tool to improve supplier integration (RFI, RFQ, award, etc.) and communication (contractuals, CSR, SPA, etc.), act as tool Key User Promote regular survey completion and analysis of supply base incl. financials, die/mold tooling status etc. Conduct benchmark study and identify opportunities for improvements Collect and analyse department value added activities, propose improvements and champion introduction BCM planning in conformance with customer requirements and business needs Contribute to improve and maintain working procedures following internal and Customer audits and management needs

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Over 5 years of purchasing activity experience in the Automotive industry including project management Very good to expertise in MRP systems, SAP expertise is an advantage Experience in purchasing planning including creation of Standards and Work Procedures Good knowledge of MS Excel and Word Fluent in English and good knowledge of German language (Japanese speaking preferable) Good problem-solving skills; continuous follow-up until problem solving Strong sense of mission, high ethics (compliance & moral) Very good cross-cultural communication skills
