Responsibilities
Globally responsible for market communications of Evonik’s Silica business
Translation of the Silica strategy into a market communication strategy
Implementation of market communication strategy and responsibility for the global market communications budget as well as for the cost management
Working in the helix organization of the Market Communications function and leading a team consisting of staff from the Content, Digital, Creative, Trade Show and Support Chapters
Collaboration within the matrix of the Silica business with, sales, product management, general management and other stakeholders in the company
Strategic and operational management (messaging, marketing assets, PR work, trade show, etc.) and steering of integrated market communications globally
Management (i. e. commissioning, briefing, leading, invoicing, controlling) of external service providers
Product brand management (brand portfolio, architecture, strategy, positioning, communication, leadership)
Collaboration with the divisional market communicator and market communicators from the division on cross-business topics for the division
Requirements
Successfully completed university degree in natural sciences, journalism, economics or liberal arts
Several years of experience in market communications/ marketing and ideally previous experience in the chemical industry
Ability to work in an agile matrix organization
Strong project and stakeholder management skills
Excellent German and English language skills
Ability to adjust language and content complexity to varied target audiences
Convincing appearance, strong communication skills and ability to work cooperatively with colleagues at all levels as well as strategic thinking and a good aesthetic judgement
Willingness to travel occasionally
