What you will enjoy doing You actively monitor and continuously improve our Internal Control System (ICS) for all finance-relevant processes Furthermore, you are responsible for the Active Risk Management of Linde Engineering in alignment with respective stakeholders In your role as the global SOX-coordinator of Linde Engineering you are responsible for SOX-relevant tasks, working closely with the global Linde Plc SOX PMO. This involves, besides others, planning and coordinating the audit process, reviewing control & testing documentation and analyzing & remediating control deficiencies You support in coordinating financial closing processes and preparing monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing statements of Linde Engineering as well as you collaborate with our global Finance-community and aggregate data and information of our reporting entities to a consolidated Linde Engineering level Preparing analyses for reporting-relevant topics by leveraging our system landscape ( SAP Group Reporting) is a key part of your tasks Analyzing and reporting monthly fluctuations of key balance sheet items on Linde Engineering level is one of your main tasks You support in general and specific accounting topics according to local and international accounting standards (mainly US GAAP) Stakeholdermanagement plays a crucial role at all of your tasks, as you work closely withrespective Corporate Linde Plc departments, Engineering headquarter functionsand commercial disciplines at our reporting entities across the globe

What makes you great

You own a bachelor’s or master’s degree (or equivalent) in business administration, business informatics, finance, or accounting and you gained 3-5 years’ experience within a audit or consulting firm or a controlling/accounting/finance department of an internationally operating company You are familiar with SOX and ICS requirements and you have very good knowledge of SAP applications, including financial consolidation with SAP Group Reporting/Hyperion, is welcome Fluent in English language (written and spoken) is mandatory, knowledge in German language as well as experience in project management is of advantage Excellent analytical skills and entrepreneurial thinking characterize your way of working, and you are also familiar with MS Office applications, especially MS Excel. Knowledge of Power Query/Pivot is an advantage Your very good interpersonal and communication skills combined with your intercultural awareness enable you to smoothly interact and collaborate with senior executive level You enjoy working within a team, sharing information and resources, and striving to achieve group goals and outcomes
