Senior Manager Product Engineering

Lead multiple development projects in the field of automotive E-Mobility with significant complexity, risk, reach and noticeable impact Form, guide and motivate diverse, cross functional project teams ; you create energy and commitment by explaining and providing opportunities for your team members Maintain the overview and understanding of technical interdependencies in order to proactively identify the most complex problems; you will lead others to think also beyond existing solutions to solve them In particular, you will conduct a forward-looking risk management ; in close cooperation with your stakeholders, you will identify possible mitigation measures and/or backup scenarios Assume full responsibility for your projects by continuously assessing progress and adjusting the project plan within the given boundary conditions to ensure that goals are met even in the face of challenges; this also involves actively identifying and managing significant changes to the existing project agreement Actively manage your key stakeholders in an international environment ; this regularly involves negotiating as well as convincing others to accept positions or trade-offs You are able to quickly establish a successful cooperation and recognize and use different areas of expertise and skills of the team members. You strive for continuous improvement, feel responsible for and contribute to the team success . Furthermore, you are personally committed to the customer’s concerns and award them a high priority. You anticipate even the future needs of customers and engage actively with the customer about these needs.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
A degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering , or a related technical field, preferably a PhD At least 6 years of professional experience in the area of wafer technology , product development , test development or application engineering Proven experience inleading, developing and motivating a team within a global organization would be a plus A profound understanding of the interdependency of technology and product characteristics Solid theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of electrical chip development/power electronics (Si/SiC technologies, MOSFETs, IGBTs and/or power diodes) Fluent English language skills, first German language skills and/or the willingness to learn German would be a plus
