Für unseren Bereich Product Creation  suchen wir am Standort Köln  eine/n

Footwear Designer (m/w/d) für PU/EVA 

DEIN NEUES PAAR SCHUHE:

Du hältst Dich über Marktentwicklungen auf dem Laufenden, indem Du Dich auf Designtrends konzentrieren und neue Trends und Entwicklungen, die für zukünftige Konzepte relevant sind, erkennst und setzt.

Du beteiligst Dich an der interdisziplinären Entwicklung von technologischen und funktionalen Innovationen mit Fokus auf PU- und EVA-Produkte und arbeitest dabei eng mit dem Produktlinienmanagement, der Produktentwicklung und externen Partnern zusammen.

Du bringst die Birkenstock-DNA in alle Deine Entwürfe ein, die von Funktionalität und Innovation rund um unser Fußbett geprägt ist.

Du hilfst bei der Erstellung und Feinabstimmung von Konzeptbriefings, klärst Marktanforderungen und bringst die Designperspektive in die konzeptionelle Planung ein.

Du erstellst und präsentierst erste Konzeptentwürfe und beziehst dabei das Feedback von Product Line Management, Merchandising, Produktentwicklung und Senior Management ein.

Du entwickelst Konzepte in CAD, einschließlich Detailansichten und Materialspezifikationen, und erarbeitest eine detaillierte Materialauswahl für verantwortliche Produktkonzepte.

Du erstellst Spec Sheets für unsere interne Entwicklung sowie ggf. für externe Lieferanten; Erstellung von verschiedenen Ansichten, Querschnitten und Details für Schäfte und Sohlen; Spezifikation von Materialien, Dekoren, Konstruktionen und Maßeinheiten (enge Abstimmung mit der Entwicklung).

Du unterstützt bei der Erstellung der saisonalen Farbkarte; erstellst die farbliche Umsetzung von Styles in enger Abstimmung mit anderen Produktbereichen und der Brand DNA.

DEIN WEG DURCHS LEBEN:

Abgeschlossene Ausbildung und/oder Studium im kreativen Bereich, optimalerweise mit Schwerpunkt Industriedesign, Mode oder Schuhdesign.

Mindestens 5 Jahre Erfahrung in einer einschlägigen Position im Schuhdesign, in der Schuh-, Mode- oder Sportbranche.

Gute Kenntnisse der Methoden und Konstruktionen zur Herstellung von Schuhen, insbesondere EVA- und PU-Direktinjektion und Gießen.

Grundkenntnisse in der EVA- und PU-Produktionstechnologie Formenbau.

Beherrschung der gängigen Grafikprogramme (Illustrator, Photoshop usw.) auf hohem Niveau, Erfahrung mit 3D-Tools ist von Vorteil.

Fließend in Englisch und Grundkenntnisse in Deutsch.

Ausgezeichnete Kommunikations- und Kooperationsfähigkeiten, sowie Anpassungsfähigkeit an ein dynamisches Umfeld, proaktive Problemlösungsfähigkeiten und eine nachweisliche Geschichte von Kreativität und Innovation.

Bereitschaft zu gelegentlichen Dienstreisen.
