Moderne Zahlungsmethoden sind etwas ganz Wunderbares. Apple Pay, PayPal, Kreditkarte - die Liste an Zahlungsmöglichkeiten ist lang. Aber leider führt das bei Konsument:innen und im Handel zu Schmerz. Du kennst das.
Wir, Paymenttools, sind ein Start-up der REWE Group und möchten den Zahlungsverkehr in Europa aufräumen. Und später im ganzen Sonnensystem. Anders ausgedrückt: #wesolvepayn.

Als Product Manager (d/w/m) bei Paymenttools begeisterst Du Händler, Partner und die gesamte Branche mit Deinen technischen Innovationen. Durch Deinen fachlichen Background im Zahlungsverkehr bist Du zusammen mit Deinem crossfunktionalen Team in der Lage, technisch anspruchsvolle und hochkomplexe Produkte zu bauen, die sich dennoch einfach integrieren lassen. Das UI kannst Du beiseite lassen, was für uns zählt ist das Payment Processing.

Deine Aufgaben
  • Du verstehst Produktentwicklung und setzt Dein fundiertes Wissen im Payment Bereich dazu ein, um eine Processing Engine zu entwickeln
  • Du gestaltest API-first-Produkte, die eine hohe Verfügbarkeit selbst bei minimaler Sicherheit garantieren, schreibst Sicherheit generell aber groß
  • Du steckst die Teams mit Deiner Produkt Vision an und hast den Kunden im Fokus
  • Du verantwortest Dein Produktportfolio, die Roadmap, die Customer Journey und bist sicher in der Priorisierung Deines Produkt-Backlogs
  • Du steuerst Deine Produkte über Kennzahlen und Wirtschaftlichkeitsbetrachtungen end-to-end vom ersten Design bis zum Rollout und auch danach
  • Du verfügst über ein Trend- und Innovationsradar und holst Dir Inspiration für neue Produkte von Kunden, Partnern, und Veranstaltungen sowie durch den Wettbewerb
  • Du arbeitest eng mit dem DevOps-Team zusammen, um für unsere Kunden eine maximal Uptime zu gewährleisten
Deine Erfahrungen
  • Du hast bereits Erfahrung als Product Manager im Bereich Payment Processing oder Fintech sammeln können oder bringst grundsätzlich tiefgreifendes technisches Produktverständnis mit
  • Du kennst Dich im Zahlungsverkehr und mit verschiedenen Zahlungsmethoden aus.
  • Du bist das Arbeiten mit headless products gewohnt und hast ein Herz für non-functional requirements
  • Ausgeprägte Team- und Kollaborationsfähigkeit zeichnen Dich aus und Du hast die Fähigkeit, interdisziplinäre Teams mit Deiner positiven Einstellung zu motivieren
  • Du fühlst Dich wohl in agiler Arbeitsweise und einer sich rasant verändernden Arbeitsumgebung
  • Du kommunizierst fließend und auf den Punkt in Deutsch
