Dual Course of Studies - Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (M/F/D) // Duales Studium – Bachelor of Science, Elektrotechnik und Informationstechnik (M/W/D)

We are currently looking for a highly motivated Student (M/F/D) to join our Dual Course of Studies - Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology.

By combining theoretical and  practical engineering at the University of Applied Sciences Schmalkalden and in our company, you can develop extensive qualifications which open up a wide range of career prospects.

Course and contents of the study program

  • Apprenticeship contract with Adtran

  • Appropriate apprenticeship remuneration

  • Start of studies on October 1st

  • Total duration of studies 3.5 years; 50% of each semester is spent working in the company

  • Main subjects of studies involve: Mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, electronics, applied computer science, communication technology, microcomputer technology, signal and system theory, principles of business economics

  • Graduation with bachelor's thesis

Knowledge, skills and experience required

  • A level or similar

  • Interest in entrepreneurial and macroeconomic issues

  • Analytical and logical thinking skills

  • Solution-oriented and independent working style

  • Good communication and presentation skills

  • Commitment and ability to work under pressure

  • Ability to work in a team

  • Good English skills

Wir suchen zurzeit einen hoch motivierten Studenten (M/W/D) für das Duale Studium – Bachelor of Science, Elektrotechnik und Informationstechnik.

Durch das Zusammenwirken von theoretischer ingenieurwissenschaftlicher Ausbildung an der Hochschule Schmalkalden und praktischer ingenieurtechnischer Ausbildung in unserem Unternehmen werden umfangreiche Qualifikationen vermittelt, die vielfältige berufliche Perspektiven eröffnen.

Aufbau und Inhalte des Studiums

  • Ausbildungsvertrag mit Adtran

  • Angemessene Ausbildungsvergütung

  • Beginn des Studiums am 1. Oktober

  • Studiendauer 3.5 Jahre; davon pro Semester 50% Praxisanteil im Unternehmen

  • Studienschwerpunkte: Mathematik, Physik, Elektrotechnik, Elektronik, Angewandte Informatik, Kommunikationstechnik, Mikrocomputertechnik, Signal- und Systemtheorie, Grundlagen Betriebswirtschaftslehre

  • Studienabschluss bildet eine Bachelorarbeit
