What You Will Do:
As our Accounts Payable/Receivable Professional, you will handle a wide range of tasks, from preparing, recording, and verifying accounts payable/receivable transactions to paying vendor invoices and processing customer payments promptly. Your keen eye for detail will shine as you maintain and reconcile ledger accounts, financial statements, and reports. Detecting and preventing fraud will be part of your responsibilities, as you conduct thorough analyses and reconciliations of bill runs.
Collaborate with the credit & collections team to assess payment status for Trimble accounts
Handle dispute management with customers, striving for positive outcomes that benefit both the customer and Trimble
Engage in collection activities, including email communication, sending statements and reminders, issuing invoices, and processing customer payments
Record all customer interactions and collection efforts in the collection software system.
Generate requested reports for credit & collections associates and other internal stakeholders like business unit controllers
Drive continuous improvement through process enhancements, efficient time management, and effective change management
What Skills & Experience You Should Bring:
Bachelor's Degree or Master's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. Additional experience considered in lieu of a degree
Minimum of XX years of credit/collections experience with progressively increasing responsibilities, preferably in a publicly traded company with multiple legal entities
Exceptional analytical, mathematical, and account reconciliation skills
Must have effective negotiation and problem solving skills.
Must be able to use verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers, vendors, and co-workers in a positive and constructive manner
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite at an advanced level.
