Information about the position

As the Team Lead of Data Science & Analytics (DSA), Marketing Analytics Engineering, youll be leading a talented Marketing Analytics Engineering team. You and your team will take ownership of all of the analytical data that are used by Vinteds Marketing teams to ensure the accuracy of reporting, and the efficiency and optimisation of the Marketing data model. Mid-term, you will be tasked to steer and guide Marketing data model rework and migration to Google Cloud Platform. Youll work closely with fellow Marketing DSA leaders to ensure that data needs are met for the external (marketers and strategists) as well as internal (data and decision scientists) stakeholders. Youll also closely collaborate with analytics and data engineers from other functions to ensure the optimal use of our data infrastructure. We expect that you will contribute significantly hands-on as well as by delegating efficiently. Youll report to the Director of Data Science & Analytics, Marketing.

In this position, youll 

Manage a Talented Team : Unlock the full potential of three Analytics Engineers Proactively Plan the Roadmap : Always be on top of 3-12 months roadmap which ensures perfect alignment between stakeholders needs and other Marketing data teams work Lead Data Migration to GCP : Plan and execute Marketing data model migration to Google Cloud Platform Own Marketing Data : Take full ownership of our diverse data pipelines combining data from more than a dozen of APIs, spreadsheet and CSV inputs, experiments, and internally generated tables (+) while ensuring data compatibility and accuracy Scale Our Data Stack Efficiently : Manage the growth and increased complexity of marketing attribution models and pipelines, as well as ensure robust campaigns payback calculations Raise Our Data Quality Standards : Introduce the best Analytics Engineering practices and ensure they are used to improve current and future data product Co-create Effectively : Work with peer people leaders, analytics engineers, data and decision scientists within Marketing DSA, as well as front- and back-end engineers from Marketplace Product to ensure robust and accurate data pipelines Drive Data Governance : Develop and oversee robust data governance and quality frameworks to ensure the integrity of marketing efficiency data. Own the processing of analytical data, including quality control, monitoring, flagging anomalies, and integration with media service provide APIs. Act as a data privacy champion for Marketing function.

About you 

Proven experience in managing large and long-term data projects Outstanding business acumen, analytical skills, and long-term planning skills Well-organised with a collaborative attitude and a strong sense of ownership Exceptional understanding of SQL and experience with dashboarding tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau, etc.) Experience with complex ROI or marketing efficiency performance reporting models Solid knowledge of at least one statistical programming language (Python, R, etc.) Familiarity with data modelling frameworks for analytical purposes (e.g. in a DWH) Excellent English communication skills with both technical and non-technical colleagues Bonus: Experience in leading a team of various data specialists (e.g. Data or Decision Scientists, Data Analysts, Analytics or Data Engineers) Bonus: Experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g. Google BigQuery) Bonus: Experience with dbt, Fivetran, and/or related modern data stack tooling
