What part will you play?
Are you a talented legal professional looking for an exciting opportunity to make an impact in the fast-paced world of online platforms including e-commerce marketplaces? Then apply now to join our team. As a Senior Legal Counsel, you will provide expert legal advice and support to our global marketplace activities such as the Siemens Xcelerator Marketplace with top management attention. In your role you will work closely with various business and legal teams across the organization to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, mitigate legal risks, and support business objectives. You will be the legal representative in the Commercial Governance Committee to help Siemens when shaping strategic decisions in a fast changing legal environment. You will be instrumental in developing and shaping an ecosystem of partners. You will work closely with our development teams and advising them when launching and implementing new technical capabilities and features.
Your tasks.
  • Provide expert legal advice on a wide range of marketplace-related issues, including e-commerce laws and regulatory compliance.
  • Draft, review and negotiate a variety of marketplace-specific agreements.
  • Day to Day interaction with business clients, colleagues and technical development teams.
  • Conduct legal research and stay up-to-date on relevant laws and regulations impacting the e-commerce industry.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and implement legal strategies that support business objectives.
  • Develop and deliver legal training to internal stakeholders on relevant legal issues.
What you need to make real what matters.
  • Successful completion of both state examinations in law with above-average results or comparable international qualification.
  • Minimum of four [4] years of professional experience as legal advisor (f/m/d) in a law firm or the legal department of an international company with marketplace activities.
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial, e-commerce and IT law.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to grasp complex issues and communicate them simply and clearly.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and with team members, business partners and colleagues across functions and countries.
  • Business fluent English language skills required (additional German language skills a plus).
