Moreover, our strong foothold in the Virtual Reality (VR) domain, highlights PLAION’s commitment to varied innovative gaming experiences.In alignment with our continued success, we are looking for a dedicated and experienced Concept Artist (all genders) helping us to take some of the most exciting AAA brands to the next level. This full-time position is based at our headquarters in Munich/Planegg in a hybrid position.In this role you will play a pivotal role to the vision of the game and the creative process. You will be creating inspiring Key Art for marketing purposes, supporting our development projects via target shots, and refining the look of new characters, environments, and architecture from concept to completion.

Your Tasks

You will partner with the Lead Art Director to define and own project needs You will produce artwork of exceptionally high quality to be used as box art, Key Art, or generally for marketing purposesYou will craft high-quality concept artwork to support the Project Game Vision and the Development Art Team, acting as a conduit to merge reality and vision.You will execute and carry out the direction in multiple disciplines, with a strong focus on environment art, including marketing creative, and character concept art.You will assist Art Direction Processes and create high-quality aspirational target shots or in-game mockupsYour consumer and market view-oriented mind enables you to demonstrate excellent knowledge of the game industry and its evolution.You will set and share best practices, guide on seamingless production pipelines and workflows 

Your Profile

You have extensive experience in creating high-quality concept artwork for games or filmYou contributed significantly least to one title as Concept ArtistYou have excellent drawing skills in both traditional and digital forms with strong understanding of light, color, values, form, shape language, visual design, and silhouetteYou are well experienced with relevant 2D and 3D content creation toolsYou have relevant understanding of architectural design, lighting, rendering, and content stagingYou are familiar with art pipelines and technical limitations in game developmentYour ability to respond elegantly to complex creative changes, even late in the process sets you apartYou are highly organized, self-driven, customer-focused, and overall, a great team player
