Meet your team

The majority of the integrations team is based in Berlin headed by an Engineering Manager supported by a product manager and product designer. There are five backend engineers and one frontend engineer working on building the technical integrations. On the solutions engineering side we have one covering the German speaking regions from Berlin and one in the US. We are now expanding our solutions engineering capacity with one more person in our German team. You will work from our Berlin office which is a very energetic engineering, business, sales & operations focused office.What you will do

_ We are looking for a Solutions Engineer to help Choco grow and enable suppliers to receive orders into their ERP systems while providing the highest buyer value. This position requires technical understanding, attention to detail and excellent communication skills. If you love solving riddles between any type of tech system in close collaboration with our business development team, we would love to get you on board.. _Here at Choco, we like to use the space shuttle as a metaphor for our engineering work. Now, you will join and help us bring the shuttle to the moon. You will be the technical owner of all our integration with suppliers in Germany. As such, you are building the foundation for a strong long term relationship between Choco and the supplier landscape while working with our product team to build new solutions.

Your daily activities will be divided between these different missions:

• You drive technical conversations in meetings and conversations with our customers on the supplier side
• You drive finding solutions to connect to the different ERP / IT systems of our customers in all the Choco markets
• You work closely with the integrations software engineering team, you communicate user needs and market developments while having the best overview of what is happening in supplier integrations in Germany.

What does it take to perform on this job:

You love solving technical challenges no matter where they come from and what form they take. You wont need coding skills, but you should have in-depth technical understanding of a wide variety of technologies.

You are a teacher and 100% customer centric You will be figuring out how to connect two worlds and systems that don’t always want to fit together. You help overcome any obstacle and are pivotal to closing deals - the more languages you speak, the better.

Experience:

• Experience as solutions engineer, professional services or technical consulting
• Commercial: Customer facing experience
• Languages: Native German & English on business level
• Technical: Understanding of integrations / APIs with different ERP systems
• Business: Understanding of functional requirements for different ERP systems like Quickbooks, SAP, Navision, Netsuite
• Location: Berlin area and willing to travel throughout Germany
