Airfreight Operations

Airfreight Operations:

• Organize and manage the entire air export operation from start to finish.
• Plan and manage consolidation (BUP) shipments, including uplift checks.
• Create daily shipment reports to ensure smooth and timely operations.

• Maintain effective communication with other Glovis offices, external customers, and suppliers.
• Prepare weekly and monthly pre-bookings with airlines to ensure capacity and space availability.
• Ensure client satisfaction, actively engage in acquiring new clients and supporting business implementation.

• Ensure accurate accrual creation in the TMS system on time.
• Prepare and finalize outgoing invoices for customers, agents, or other Glovis offices.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to resolve any discrepancies.

• Uphold compliance standards, adhering to internal and external regulations and policies.
• Support the team leader by reporting any operational irregularities.

• A Degree as Freight forwarder and logistics service provider or equivalent.
• Preferably around 3 years of experience in airfreight export operations.
• Fluent in both English and German (spoken and written).
• Expertise in Air export operations, including consolidation planning.
• Strong communication skills for dealing with vendors, partners, and clients.
