Your mission

Since 2011 north.io, based in Kiel, Germany, has been the expert in the organisation and management of geospatial data on land and at sea.
Our digital tools create the knowledge that enables our government and business customers to better understand their geospatial data and make informed decisions. This is how we address complex challenges such as climate change, energy transition and digital transformation.
Our Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions make geospatial data easily accessible, quickly discoverable, easily shareable and clearly understandable.

To technically empower our young and growing team we're looking for IT- Admin Working Student (F/M/D) to support us in tasks like:

  • Technical user-support (Windows, MacOS, Linux)
  • Digitalization and care of asset- and system-documentations
  • Extention and improvment of FAQ for user self-services
  • Maintenance of workstations, printers, meetings-rooms, etc.
  • Ongoing improvment of the user-experience of our IT-support
Your profile

Needed:

  • Enthusiastic about supporting people and enjoying teamwork
  • Interests in hard- and software and solving technical problems
  • Fluent English (we are a multi-national team, so english is the main language spoken)
  • Independent and solution-focused way of working
Nice to have:
  • Study course in information technology
  • Experience in administration of Windows-, MacOS- and Linux-machines
  • Knowledge in computer hardware and components
  • Knowledge in script languages like Powershell, Bash and Python
  • Experience in virtualization technologies like hypervisors, containers
