Project Manager

Description

Leads cross-functional, device-focused, mainly co-located product development teams executing programs with a distinct beginning and end. Some post-market support may be required. Responsible for all aspects of planning and driving product development and product introduction activities. Responsible for the completeness and compliance of the Design History File for the device (if product is a medical device) Accountable for adherence to all applicable elements of the quality system and acts as main point of contact for design controls as they pertain to projects/programs owned. Ensures a high level of team engagement and motivation Maintains full transparency of the project/program status at all times and manages exceptions effectively. Interacts with many stakeholders at various level of seniority throughout the organization Collects and reports executional key performance indicators Engages in organizational initiatives targeting process or infrastructure optimization as required.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in related field of study and 5+ years of related experience, or Master’s degree and 3+ years of related experience, or equivalent work experience Strong project management skills: planning, tracking, project risk management, stakeholder management Experience managing projects/programs in a regulated environment – preferably in medical devices Proficient in utilizing business tools, such as e-mail, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools, like MS Project and burndowns/burnups Understanding of agile methodologies Fluent English language skills and Basic knowledge of German language is required
