The SAP Internship Experience Program is SAP’s global, strategic, paid internship program that provides university students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers.

About the team:

 

You will be part of the People and Culture Program Office, within the Strategy and Transformation unit. Our team consists of project managers, program managers, and PMOs dedicated to delivering impactful People and Culture transformation projects. We are a dynamic and collaborative team committed to shaping the future of our organization’s culture. This role offers a unique opportunity to support key initiatives and contribute to the successful delivery of transformation projects across the company.

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Position title: SAP Strategy and Transformation iXp Intern (f/m/d) – PMO Support
  • Work Area: Corporate Operations
  • Location: Walldorf, Germany
  • Expected start date: November 2024

 

In this role, you’ll:

 

  • Support project managers, program managers, and PMOs in delivering People and Culture transformation projects.
  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and tracking project activities, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of PMO processes, tools, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication across projects.
  • Analyze project data and provide insights to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.

 

Who you are:

 

You are a student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

 

  • Educational requirements: Currently enrolled in a university program
    •  ideally in business administration, management, or a related field.
  • Language requirements: Fluent in English; German is a plus.
  • Desired skills/experience:
    • Strong understanding of project management principles and PMO best practices.
    • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
    • Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, or similar).
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.

Note for Germany: currently the SAP Internship Experience Program is only open to interns and being hired into other contract types such as working students will preclude the candidate's participation in the program.
