Electromobility is on the rise and there are ambitious climate protection targets. By converting their vehicle fleets, large companies can make their contribution to this and also benefit financially from the associated savings. IAV is working with a leading parcel service provider on intelligent control of its electric vehicles and is thus actively contributing to environmental protection. Our work in this area offers you the opportunity to become part of an innovative team. One result of this cooperation is the cloud-based Swarm IQ application, which is already being used in daily operations at many locations.
Currently, a special telematics unit must be installed in the vehicles used so that they can be controlled by our system. In a future expansion stage, however, it should also be possible to integrate private cars or classic rental vehicles. There are some service providers who concentrate on the specific programming interfaces of the manufacturers and thus simplify integration.
The first step in this work is to identify suitable service providers. These will then be compared with each other and their suitability for Swarm IQ will be evaluated. Finally, a simple proof-of-concept will be developed that demonstrates the integration of a "normal" car, such as the department vehicle, into SwarmIQ. This not only sounds exciting, but also gives you valuable experience in the field of electromobility.

Necessary Skills:
