Project Director

The Project Director of Cost Management will be responsible for managing the cost on complex and large-scale construction projects. The successful candidate will have experience in the Data Centre sector and will be responsible for delivering successful projects that meet our clients' expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the cost of large-scale construction projects from the Data Centre sector.
- Develop cost management strategies and plans that align with our clients' needs.
- Work with clients to establish project budgets, identify cost savings opportunities, and ensure cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Build and lead project teams of cost management professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support as needed.
- Oversee the preparation of cost estimates, cost plans, and cost reports.
- Monitor project costs against the budget, identifying any variances and implementing corrective actions as required.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project team members.
Qualifications
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Professional accreditation from a relevant professional body (e.g., SCSI, RICS) is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in cost management, with a track record of managing large-scale construction projects, experiences in data Centre construction projects.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team of professionals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project team members.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and implement changes as required.
- Knowledge of industry-standard cost management software tools.
- Fluent English skills; German language is a plus.
