This position is available immediately in full-time (40hrs./week) at our locations or remotely within Germany or UK.

Your tasks
- Provide leadership and direction to your engineering team of 4, guiding them towards achieving squad goals and objectives as well as mentoring and coaching individual contributors, supporting their growth and development.
- Work closely with the Technical Lead and Product Owner to align squad efforts with the overall product roadmap and objectives.
- Ensure the successful delivery of committed business outcomes, meeting agreed upon timelines and quality standards.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to your team members. Support career growth and progression for individual contributors, providing guidance on career paths and opportunities within the organization.
- As a pivotal member of our agile team, you will still work directly on our websites utilizing our whole tech stack and focus on enhancing the websites through AI-powered features and services to attract new customers and continue to improve our conversion rate.
Your Profile
- 1+ year experience in managing a team.
- Backend-focused with substantial experience in object-oriented PHP and the Laravel framework.
- Solid experience with TypeScript and frameworks like VueJS.
- Extensive background in automation, and data-driven personalisation to deliver efficient, scalable, and customized solutions for seamless user experiences.
- Performance management skills, with the ability to establish and track key engineering metrics, ensuring accountability, and driving continuous improvement.
- Experience in implementing and driving Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, within engineering teams.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in English is required, German is a plus.
