- Ph.D. in Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- Enthusiastic and highly motivated postdoc interested in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and aging research
- Experience in stem cell research or C. elegans models is an advantage but not necessary
- Excellent verbal and written English skills.
- Proactive, flexible, and adept at problem-solving.
- Challenging and varied tasks with a high degree of personal responsibility in an interesting and demanding environment.

Our group is interested in studying how alterations in the crosstalk between RNA and protein metabolism contribute to amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, a fatal neurodegenerative disease that remains incurable. Our laboratory uses an innovative approach based on a combination of patient-derived stem cells with genetics in the model organisms C. elegans to understand mechanism that can prevent age -related diseases such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
