The main tasks of Treasury include ensuring liquidity, solvency and financial flexibility for Mercedes-Benz Group AG, managing all financial risks (e.g. interest, currency, credit, equity) and refinancing while optimizing costs and net interest income. Our Cash Management Europe department is responsible for all issues relating to optimized and efficient cash management in Europe. Our current projects include, for example, the global restructuring/optimization of our banking landscape and the further roll-out of our payment transaction solutions to European companies.
Within the department, the Treasury Operations Services Europe team lays the foundation for all treasury activities and payment transactions, e.g. through bank account management, contract negotiations with banks and technical support for the SWIFT infrastructure. In addition, the team is responsible for global bank account management.
The team consists of committed and friendly colleagues who look forward to your support. Open communication, mutual support, knowledge transfer and a constructive approach to challenges are an important basis for us to successfully fulfill our tasks together and implement our projects effectively. We work in a hybrid model with a mixture of mobile working and presence in the office.
These are some of the challenges you will face
Independent management and further development of data collection (e.g. online banking, ERP systems, cash pool) as part of the Banking Administration Process (Genesis) including communication & retrieval of data from local, global treasury centers. Participation in the digitization project "Bank Fee Tool" with a focus on the collection and preparation of relevant data on currently valid conditions for bank fees. Participation in the roll-out of a globally standardized set of contracts as part of the in-house banking landscape. Support in the implementation of a digital authorization concept (Ferret) for powers of attorney and bank authorizations at MBG and relevant companies. Supporting colleagues with queries relating to daily business in the bank account system and payment processes. Qualifikationen Degree in (industrial) engineering, (business) informatics, technically oriented business administration or a comparable course of study Confident written and spoken German and English skills Confident handling of MS Office, ideally also Power BI Commitment and ability to work in a team Analytical mindset and strategic way of workingAdditional information:
