Assistant Manager, Data Center Critical Facilities

Job Summary

Provides direct supervision to professional individual contributors and/or skilled, support individual contributors. Acts as guide to unit or sub-units and may become actively involved, as required, to meet schedules and resolve problems.

Responsibilities

Management

Provides direct supervision to professional individual contributors and/or skilled, support individual contributors

Ensures the team is caring out responsibilities in a timely manner and projects are progressing, as expected

Manages personnel details including salaries, positioning, hire/fire, reviews, coaching and development

Assists with testing and coordinating projects and maintenance

Project / Infrastructure Site Management

Plans, coordinates, budgets, and implements resources to complete projects and maintenance within the datacenters. Develops and manages routine operational plans. Meets targets typically against a monthly plan

Provides input and guidance towards budget

Overall site capacity supervision

Vendor Management

Oversees contractor work and operations to ensure completion to Equinix's required standards

Testing

Assists with start up tests, documenting and reporting all problems

Incident Management

Communicates and coordinates activities and on-site staff during an incident

Qualifications

Minimum of proven years of related experience or equivalent work experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Assistant Manager (m/w/d) Technisches Facility Management

Das sind Ihre Aufgaben:

Disziplinarische und fachliche Führung eines Teams

Planung, Koordinierung, Budgetierung, Durchführung und Reporting der Ressourcen für Instandhaltungsmaßnahmen im Elektro-/ Klima-/ Kältebereich

Beaufsichtigung von Arbeiten und Tätigkeiten der Auftragnehmer zur Sicherstellung der von Equinix geforderten Standards

Unterstützung des operativen Tagesgeschäftes im laufenden Rechenzentrumsbetrieb

Erarbeitung von Lösungen zur Energieoptimierung sowie deren Umsetzung

Steuerung und Betreuung von Nachunternehmen und Fremdfirmen

Erstellen und Pflege von Dokumentationen und Berichten

Durchführung von Kundenaudits und Q&A´s

Wahrnehmen von delegierten Unternehmerpflichten

Das wünschen wir uns:

Abgeschlossene Berufsausbildung als Elektriker / Elektroniker / Energieelektroniker /Kälteanlagenbauer (m/w/d) oder ein vergleichbarer Abschluss

Erfolgreich abgeschlossene Weiterbildung zum Techniker / Meister (m/w/d)

Erfahrung in der Personalführung und Einsatzplanung

Kenntnisse und Erfahrung im Bereich Aufbau, Wartung, Reparatur und Erweiterung der Gebäudeinfrastruktur

Gute Englischkenntnisse

Hohe Sozialkompetenz, Kommunikationsfähigkeit und Teamgeist
