We are expanding and are looking for the following to strengthen our teams as soon as possible in Hamburg a Business Manager Aerosapce(m/w/d)
Your goal is to grow and diversify the company’s aerospace business and customer base by developing current business with existing customers and winning new business with a broader range of new customer, to contribue to the management effort to define, develop and deliver the overall Sogeclair business plan
You main tasks will be focused on :
- Business development: identifying, negotiating and concluding the sale of technical services
- Recruitment and management: selecting, supervising and developing your team of engineering consultants
- Profit centre management: steering the sales and profitability of your Business Unit
Requirements
About you:
- Degree or equivalent in an engineering subject.
- Training, experience and formal qualifications in commerce / management desirable.
- 5 years minimum experience in a similar role in an aerospace environment, with a demonstrable
- track record of achievement and bringing business prospects to contract closure.
- Excellent commercial and financial acumen.
- Strong engineering understanding and awareness.
- Good understanding of IT systems and software.
- Excellent written and spoken English, good level in German, French is a plus.
- Ability to produce concise, structured and innovative written reports and bid proposals.
- Good knowledge of Sogeclair aerospace’s principal markets and customers.
