Our modern society is highly dependent on a properly operating energy infrastructure. Disruptions in the supply of electricity and gas bring public life and our economies to a halt within a very short time. Meanwhile, the smooth operation of energy supply depends on intact information technology. The interconnection of energy generation and energy distribution through IT systems has increased and continues to increase at an ever-increasing rate. However, the growing dependence on these modern technologies is also accompanied by risks to supply security.At Uniper, we consistently expand our use of modern IT technologies. We operate world-class leading Cyber-Defense- and Security-Operations-Centers across Europe.

What we are looking for
Provide thought leadership, advice and guidance on how security architecture is practiced by IT professionalsAct as a security evangelist, presenting concepts and instruction to end users and assisting projects with any security-related communications as requiredConduct thorough and ongoing security audits of the Information Technology and Operations Technology-Portfolio identifying risks and mitigationsSupport both IT-and OT-Service-Owners by identifying security improvement opportunities, designing and overseeing implementation with focus on securityWork in close collaboration with our Cyber Defence Center and our IT/OT Security Operations CenterAnalyze OT related security events, security risks and vulnerabilities forwarded or identified by the Security Operations CenterAnalyze security risks and judge impacts on the operational assets (assets that are at risk)Investigate and qualify security incidents (IT/OT)Recommend and support the implementation of actions to mitigate security incidents (IT/OT)Design and approve architectural solutions that ensure an appropriate balance between security requirements and business flexibilityEnsure pro-active information flow between the architecture and security community, project organization and external partners over the respective program and project statusDevelop and align short and long-term strategic technology roadmaps interlinked with wider Information Security governance and initiativesDeliver or technically validate information security designs and governance processes
Who we are seeking
Proven strong conceptual and analytic skillsCertifications in TOGAF, CISSP and/or significant experience with information security industry standards and toolsSolid understanding of IT/OT information security principles, standards, practices and technologiesSpecialist in security architecture, from an E2E perspective across all aspects of architecture practiceA deep and wide technical background across multiple IT domains, in particular Application and Cloud security (MS Azure)A proven ability to make pragmatic tactical decisions whilst still aligning with the business and technology strategyA clear understanding and experience of implementing architecture frameworks and enterprise level architecture and designAbility to communicate security-related concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff at all levels in an articulate, engaging, and confident mannerFluent spoken English (required) and German (optional)
