Intro Paragraph

The Working Student – Power BI Data Analyst will assist in transforming data into insightful and actionable visualizations. By supporting the design and updating of interactive dashboards in Power BI, optimizing data workflows, and extracting data through SQL queries, this role contributes to data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Your Job

  • Dashboard Creation & Updates: Design and create interactive automated data dashboards using
    Power BI. Update existing dashboards with new data and visualizations
  • Data Workflow Optimization: Design and implement improvements to ETL processes for smoother
    data ingestion into the dashboards
  • SQL Queries: Extract necessary data from SQL databases using well-written queries
  • UI dashboard Enhancements: Suggest and implement changes to create a user friendly Power BI
    dashboard and improve the overall usability
  • Stakeholder Communication: Follow-up and communicate updates, reports, and answer questions
    regarding the dashboards
  • (Bonus) Data Analysis: Conduct analysis using Python and Pandas for additional support and
    insights is a plus
Your profile

  • Currently enrolled in a program in the following fields: (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science,
    Business Analytics, or similar)
  • Solid understanding of Power BI: dashboard creation, DAX, and visualization techniques
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases
  • Familiarity with data workflow/ETL concepts
  • Familiarity with other Microsoft power platform tools, such as Power automate, power app and
    co-pilot studio
  • Python and Pandas skills
  • Basic knowledge of UI/UX principles
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
