Mercedes Benz Vans has firmly anchored its claim to leadership in electromobility in its strategy. With VAN.EA, Mercedes Benz Vans is implementing the next stage of its electrification strategy: In future, all medium-sized and large vans based on the new modular architecture will be purely electric. This applies to both commercially used premium all-rounders and privately used vans in the luxury segment. Regardless of how the VAN.EA vehicles are used: The focus is on added value for customers and their individual requirements.
The Operations Engineering (VAN/OE) department in the MB Vans division is the creative link between development and the production centers. We work at national and international locations worldwide. The core tasks are product and industrialization projects, series support and B-phase planning. In order to implement our strategic orientation with regard to the electrification of all model series, we are therefore already working on the next generations of our battery-electric vans and are looking for a motivated working student to support our team in the Mercedes-Benz Vans Operations division.
These are some of the challenges you will face:
Participation in project, product and schedule design in project management in VAN Operations Assistance in the management of higher-level strategic projects and test orders for VAN.EA Participation in committee management and ensuring the exchange of information between the Head of Operations, project management, trade planning, production and the strategic project Accompanying escalation points of constructability conflicts in the test certificate process (documentation, reporting and preparation of workshops)We offer you:
