Inviting applications for the role of Product Line Manager – Assistant Manager – German – On site Dusseldorf
Responsibilities
• Own the overall relationship to all suppliers of the relevant commodities
• Responsibility for the overall commercial performance of the relevant suppliers within the relevant commodities
• Monitoring and reporting of KPI's linked to supplier performance (quality, commercial) in close collaboration with other relevant functions of the company
• Lead commercial negotiations with all suppliers of the relevant commodities
• Develop, negotiate and manage contracts with strategic suppliers and negotiate best possible price, cycle time and commercial terms (i.e. Pay terms, supplier managed inventory, consignment stock programs, etc.) in close collaboration with relevant internal stakeholders
• Organize and moderate regular meetings with key suppliers of the relevant commodities
• Build and apply the strategy for the relevant commodities in close cooperation with Product Line Sourcing
• Prepare and apply regular (global) benchmarks, market analyses and sourcing decisions under Total Costs of Ownership aspects in collaboration with Product Line Buyers
• Pooling of demands for the relevant commodity across all Product Lines
• Approval of Purchase Orders for the relevant commodities
• Leads ideas and initiatives in order to improve the supplier's performance
• Collaborate with other functions within the company in defining standardized components
• Escalation point for incidents with suppliers in accordance with applicable procedures
• Responsibility for all duties of the Sourcing function within the RCA-process
• Ensure regular and fluent information exchange within the Sourcing Organization and with other relevant functions
• Responsibility for data health in the ERP system(s)

Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications
• German Language proficiency – B2/C1
• Category Management or Commodity Management
• English Language Proficiency – B2/C1


Preferred qualifications 
• Commercial Bachelor or Master’s degree or Engineering degree with commercial interest or equivalent knowledge and experience
• Strong commercial sourcing experience including supplier selection and contract negotiations
• Strong technical acumen with preference in additive manufacturing and complex industrial scale equipment preferred
