Lead Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Lead Engineer - Controls and Application Architecture (m/f/d) to drive the development and implementation of scalable software architecture solutions. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration, optimize infrastructure processes, and spearhead innovative control methods across various components.

• Develop scalable architecture concepts for application software and oversee their implementation and maintenance.
• Collaborate closely with component owners to implement selected architectures and ensure smooth interface behaviour.
• Provide guidelines for unified architecture development and documentation.
• Automate and improve infrastructure processes, enhancing synergies in the infrastructure environment.
• Manage backlog prioritisation and coordination with clients and the team, incorporating stakeholder feedback into actionable plans.
• Ensure continuous maintenance and documentation of the overall architecture.
• Oversee and steer the development of advanced control methods within application software across different components.

Strong communicative skills with a results oriented demeanour and stakeholder management, as well as:

• Successfully completed university degree in Computer Science, Control Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a similar role. 
• Proven team leadership experience.
• Strong skills in requirements engineering.
• In-depth knowledge of heterogeneous hardware and software components, networking technologies.
• Excellent German and English communication skills, both written and spoken.
